Christian Ministry Serving
the Lord Since 1983
The SOWER Ministry began as our founders, Frank and Kathy Varga, traveled the highways and byways of the United States, assisting other travelers in need. While traveling and serving with other organizations, Frank and Kathy sensed the need for a distinctive ministry for Christian RVers. This group, which eventually came to be known as the SOWER Ministry, would use their individual talents, skills, and God-given gifts to provide services for many Christian ministries.
This led to the incorporation of “Servants On Wheels Ever Ready” (SOWER) on August 10, 1984, as a non-profit ministry governed by a Board of Trustees.
Eph 6:5-8
Slaves, obey your masters according to the flesh, with fear and trembling, in singleness of your heart, as to Christ, not with eye-service, as men-pleasers, but as the servants of Christ, doing the will of God from the heart, with good will doing service as to the Lord and not to men (knowing that whatever good thing he does, he shall receive the same from the Lord, whether he is a slave or a freeman).

Who We Are
SOWER is a community of Christian RV volunteers who feel called to serve ministries through practical, hands-on support. Our members travel across the U.S. and Canada, offering their skills, fellowship, and encouragement to strengthen organizations that share the gospel. Each project reflects our desire to serve Christ by serving His people.

How We Serve
Every three-week project allows SOWERS to step into vital roles that keep ministries running smoothly. Members take on facility upkeep, construction assistance, administrative tasks, and other needed work so leaders can focus on teaching, discipleship, and outreach. By meeting tangible needs with willing hearts, we help ministries flourish in their calling.

Whom We Serve
We serve Christian ministries that depend on volunteer labor to continue their mission. Camps, schools, churches, children’s homes, and other organizations receive reliable help, fellowship, and encouragement from SOWER teams. Our support enables them to steward resources wisely and create environments where lives are shaped by Christ’s love.
